Your Superannuation

Superannuation is a long-term savings plan that provides financial security for retirement and related needs, such as housing or income support. CTSL is the only trustee in Papua New Guinea operating the Accumulation Scheme and the Defined Benefit Scheme, giving members flexible and secure options for their retirement savings.

Accumulation Scheme

The Accumulation Scheme is a type of superannuation plan where both the member and their employer make regular contributions to a personal super account throughout the member’s working life.

Defined Benefit Scheme

The Defined Benefit Scheme is a legacy superannuation plan originally established for members of the PNG Defence Force. Under this scheme, your retirement benefit is determined by a formula based on your final salary and the total number of years you have served.
